What do we need to do to increase Amiga Security?

  1. create Mailinglist - Status: ready on Sunday
    ( subject "join aspml" to my email address) * READY *
  2. sshd for AmigaOS - Status : i`ve got the sources :-) and GCC works now
  3. cron based tool for seek&destroy of unwanted portscans - Status : * READY *
  4. as part of seek&destroy, do others systems a favour and check incomming connects to trojanports if other system is infected and generate msg for abuse
  5. as part of seek&destroy, build deny-tool for faster lockout of ip`s Status: * READY *
  6. Analyser for outgoing traffic, to check if we have been hacked - Status : planning
  7. Bruteforce passwd hackdetection - Status: concept ready
  8. new NIDS tool for ICMP checking - Status: planned

  1. I thought about an daemon to collect Trojan connections and log what they send , if they send anything. At a hackersite i got a perl programm called landmine.pl but thats not the thing i want to do. We should onyl log the trojan activity for abuse mails. Ok, it`s lame, but i really don`t want to responsible for an abuse mail about YOU!
  2. I investigate in rawsockets for TCP/UDP use to make the traffic analyzer working.
