How to finish this game? This is a question everyone ask yourself at least one time. Well, below is the solution of this interesting game, with the maps that will help you a lot. You must follow the solve DAY by DAY to finish it.

DAY 1

As soon as you arrive the abadia, the abad, after receiving you, will give you a brief of the strange happenings that are taking place on the abadia. After this brief, the abad will take you to your cell. At this point, look at the map and find your cell (la celda) and follow exactly the path (the path is drawn on the map), because if the abad warn you, your obedience level will decrease. If this level is too low, Guillermo and Adzo will be expelled from the abadia.

Once the abad leave you in front of your cell, some bells will advise you that it's work time. The first thing to do is to pray in the church. Here, as Guillermo, you'll feel lost by not knowing nothing! The better you can do is follow Adzo. He already knows the path. But if you want to use the map... (-;

On the church, you must find a good place to stay. If you stay in the path, your obedience level will decrease. The place reserved to Guillermo is the place in the corner, next to Adzo.

While you are waiting the other monks, you'll see some cut-scenes from other places in the abadia. In one of them, you'll see one monk going throught several houses, until he desapear and strangely appears behind the altar.

Once the pray is finished, you'll notice that is night. Guillermo and Adzo must go to his cells and sleep. You MUST know this path VERY WELL, because you'll use it everyday.

Now Adzo will ask you something about sleep, and them you too will sleep.

DAY 2

At this night, just after you and Gillermo fall asleep, somebody comes into your cell, and when you wake up you will notice that somebody has stolen Guillermo glasses... And you'll find it only several days after now.

The day starts with the bells advising you need go to the church. You need to repeat exactly the same things you have done on the first day. The abad you tell you that Verengario body was found. Next, and after the pray, the abad will call Guillermo. Stay next to him so you'll be able to hear the conversation.

They will go to the sriptorium, in the up floor. Follow them. Look at the map to locate te sriptorium. There, they'll find a man guarding the key to a secret door. Guillermo will not be able to get the key, so he creates a plan. On this plan there is the need to stay next to the exit, in the line that makes corner with the wall next to the table, and to get the key, Adzo must go behind the table where is the key. To control Adzo you will need to push DOWN cursor key, and to turn Adzo, you'll need to turn Guillermo, and Adzo will turn too.

Once Adzo got the key, you must go to the refectory (comedor on the map). If you use the south stairs, you will find a scroll and a book heavly guarded. Do not try get them. Look at the map. As soon as you get to the refectory, you must go to your place, next to the second column, on the left. Your place on the table will be ALWAYS this one. And you always must go there FAST to avoid losing obedience points.

As soon as you finish the lunch, go to the kitchen (cocina in the map) and you'll find a way to enter on the secret passage. Look at the map (entrada secreta). This is not needed, but you can do this without fear.

Once you hear the bells again, go to the church again, following Adzo... When finish your job on the church, go to you cell. You'll not be able to fall asleep, but the day ends anyway.

DAY 3

Go to the secret door, once all other abadia doors are closed. You must take Adzo so he can open the door (with the key stolen from the librarian). The short way to get to this door (puerta secreta) is on the map.

When you go up the southeast stairs you'll see a monk. Look for the scroll and book, but you'll find only the scroll. The monk has gotten the book. As soon as you got the scroll, go back the path to your cell, or the abad will got ya. When you are in front of the secret door, stand there until the sun rises. Do not go anywhere, or the abad you got ya.

When the sun rises, go to the church, and the abad will tell about the librarian vanished. Once the pray is finished, he will ask Guillermo to go with him to visit Jorge, the oldest monk in this abadia. He will tell you about the presence of the anti-christ. You MUST follow the abad so you not lose obedience points.

The bells will sound again, advising you about it's launch time. Go to the refectory... But follow this instructions, or you'll have a lot of trouble. As Guillermo is carring the scroll, the abad will try all ways to get it back. The problem is that if you arrive BEFORE the abad to sit, a simple message will tell you that you was gotten. This is not the right way. Once the abad is waiting you to move just to take the scroll back, wait until the abad sit and THEN you sit. You'll lost some obedience points, but this is the only way to not lose the scroll.

When you finish the lunch, go to the kitchen to get the lamp, which will be very usefull at the night, on the maze. The way to get the lamp is let Adzo get it.

Go to the church, and when it's finished, go back to your cell.

DAY 4

At this night you'll decide to not sleep to find the maze. Look at the map (laberinto). Is not needed to do this, you do not need to go visit the maze in this night, but it's good. If you decide to go the maze, you must have the lamp. You'll use it to light you the path. But it'll light a little are around you. And it'll not work for a long time. Adzo will calculate the time for you. You'll need also do the same thing that you had done on the last night, hiding yourself behind the secret door.

As soon as you hear the bells, go to the church. The abad you tell you the librarian body was found. Worried about this, he will call Guillermo and will ask to Bernardo Gui to make an investigation, which had arrived this morning. But Guillermo has decided ignore the abad instructions and discover the crimes mistery.

When the abad leave you alone, going to investigate the refectory, you'll be informed about librarian autopsy: he has strange dark spots on his fingers and tongue.

Once again, you'll hear the bells, saying you to go to the refectory. Here you'll need do the samething you had done yesterday: wait until the abad sit and then sit... Or you'll lose the scroll.

At this time, Bernardo Gui will ask you to give him the scroll. Now you must give it. There is no way.

When you hear the bells again, go to the church. Note where the abad leave the manuscript.

Go back to your cell.

DAY 5

Once again you'll not sleep. Using the night path (look at the map - camino nocturno), you will find the altar where you'll find a key. As fast as you can, go back to your cell. Adzo will ask you about sleeping, answer yes (si).

When you wake up, go to the church. A monk you tell you that he had found a strange book on his cell.

Later, the abad will call Guillermo... But something will occour. The librarian has heard the monk revelation (about the book) and will follow him to his cell. The murderer wants the book, and will lock him in its cell. (these actions will not be seen. This is a suposition).

After the lunch time, the abad and Guillermo will visit the herbolario (monk) cell, because he was not present on the lunch. It's very important follow the abad next to him.

You'll find herbolario killed.

On the church, el librarian Malaquias will lock the book in one secret place on the maze. It is suposed that at this time he has lost the glasses and a key. When he arrive at the church, will speak some words and will die.

DAY 6

At this night is the perfect our to visit the maze. At the maze entrance, find the librarian key, and northwest of the maze, find the glasses. Look at the map. Note if you have not used the lamp in the fourth day, you'll have no problems. But if you used it, it must be refilled (leaving it on the kitchen again) BEFORE you go to the maze again.

As soon as you finish your daily job at the church, the abad will ask Guillermo to leave the abadia in the next day. There is little time to finish the investigation now.

In the sequence, visit herbolario cell. Refill the oil in the lamp, and launch at the refectory.

Now there is an important detail to solve the mistery. You must get the manuscript that was in the abad cell. Go there, avoiding being caught by the abad, and Guillermo will copy the scroll, reading its contents.

Finish the day going to the church and then going to your cell.

Day 7

In this last night, go to the secret house on the maze. When you got there, stand in front of the mirror (look at the map - espejo). In the middle, Guillermo must find the translation of the manuscript. The solution has something with some entrance on the mirror.

<< ... la primera y la septima de quatuor o cuatro>>. The first leter of quatuor is Q and the seventh is R. Push the Q and R keys and you'll see what happens.

The mirror will be opened, and when entering, Guillermo will see Jorge, the old monk, asking him to read the book. Once Jorge is blind, he did not saw... It was an ironic Aristotes forbidden book. Guillermo solved the mistery. The book's paper was covered with a strange poison and when someone put the finger on the tongue to humidity it, this person would die poisoned. Jorge runs out of the room. The mistery ended dramaticaly.


How to Save Game

To save, you must push CTRL + TAB. A cursor will be present in the upper left corner of the screen. This means that the game is paused so you can save or load. Push S to Save or L to Load a game. Using ESC you will exit this mode. The problems with this type of save is that you can only save ONE situation. There is another bad thing... This type of save will work ONLY after the lunch of the second day, and always you read this save you'll back to this time (second day's lunch time), even if you saved in the last day.

You can save the game into the memory too (different than the previous mode, when you save in a cassete tape). To save into memory, push SHIFT + F1. This is very interesting, once you can save, try several times a difficult situation and when you pass throught it without problems, you can save again. If you make a mistake, you can always read from memory.
