The 256-colour Space Quest IV contains some funny easter-eggs and jokes. If you happen to have found other ones, please send them to the e-mail address stated on the index screen.

If you want to hear Roger's whole tale of adventure(which he tells in the bar), do the following : When Roger has begun to speak, press F1(or another F-button, doesn't matter). You'll see the menu for skipping, watching, and restoring, but Roger keeps talking.

To receive Text & Speech at the beginning of the game, do the following :

When Gary begins to speak in the intro(We rejoin our friend, and semi-hero etc.) , press a f-button(F7 will do). The skip watch, and restore menu will appear, but Gary continues his speech. Let Gary finish his speech, and press the skip button. From now on, you have Text & Speech in the game.

You can find a skimmer on Xenon. But the thing is very old. Who would be its owner? Wait a moment. It looks the same as the skimmer from Luke Skywalker

The hologram(in the sewers of Xenon) tells how the virus came in the super computer, thanks to a game called Leisure Suit Larry 4. Maybe that's the main reason why Sierra never released LSL4.

On the streets on Xenon, very often, you can see a bunny happy marching by. Now where have i seen this rabbit before? But of course, he comes directly from the reclame from Duracell. It just keeps going, and going...

After you have been grabbed by the bird(whatever it is), and lets go of you, and arrived at his/hers nest, sometimes you can see that thing ones more fly by. This time he has got King Graham(Another hero from the Sierra On-line games). Currently, we haven't got a picture of this, due the speed of the bird. If anyone can help me, please e-mail me.

You can see Bob Andrew. He is one of people who made SQ4, at Big & Tall. Bob will explain how he appears in Big & Tall (Following text has been taken from Troels Pleimert's SQ FAQ) This can only done correctly with the CD-ROM VERSION.

"Having me show up is actually pretty simple. Go to Big & Tall after clearing out the ATM and changing back to your Roger clothes, but before buying the adapter plug from Radio Sho...er, Hz So Good."

Even in the future many games, and names look alike the games now. For example(Thanks to Troels Pleimert FAQ for explaining many of the parodies)

Boom is a parody of (Lucasarts game) Loom. Sim-Sim from Maxthis is a parody of the many sim-games from Maxis. Where in the world is Hymie Lipschitz from Broderbuns is a parody from Broderbund's Where in the world is Carmen Sandiago. It came for dessert is a parody of it came from the desert. And the cluck egger is a parody of Chuck Yeager.

When you are working at Monolith Burger, LOOK, SMELL, and TASTE the ingredients. Don't panic, they will just start talking to you.

Try talking to the trash can. To your suprise, it'll begin to talk. This must be a parody taken from "get smart"(Once more, thanks to Troels Pleimert FAQ for telling about this parody)

In the bar of Space Quest I, you can see the Blue Brothers(i presume they also appear in Space Quest I - EGA version)

Sometimes when you play MS. ASTRO-CHICKEN, Cedric flies by. We have seen this a couple of times, but could never get a picture. If someone can help me with a picture, please e-mail me.

When you are breaking in the super-computer, (save first)flush the SQ4 logo. Don't scare that ,without a warning, SQ4 stops playing. You have just deleted it, and flushed it down the toilet.

The disk, where junior's mind in is stored, is labeled with a Sierra label.

If you wait a while in the nest on Estros, you can see another unlucky adventurer fly by. Why, it's king Graham(In KQ5, you'll also be kidnapped by a big giant bird).

Sometimes in Ms. Astro Chicken, Cedric the owl from Kings Quest 5 flies by.

Also in Ms. Astro Chicken, a plane flies by, and will advertise about Media Vision.

When you click on the Radio Shock sign in the diskette version, it'll say "It's A Dandy Corp!" which is a parody of the real radio shack, a Tandy Corp. This is also the reason why it was changed in the CD-ROM version. Tandy threatened legal actionm so now "Radio Shock" has been turned into "Hurtz So Good"(Submitted by Gary)
