Applet parameters and methods

Parameters:

ONLOAD

This parameter value contains a JavaScript expression to call when the
applet is finished loading and ready to operate. In this example

set variable loader which is used in the script to refer the applet and call its methods.

ONDOCLOAD

This parameter contains the name of the javascript handler function to call when the applet is finished loading the
document
from the specified URL (note: only name without () ). In this example:

Applet call function setContent(allDocument) and pass the loaded content as one string
to this function call. How you use this content is up to you. In this example it is copied
inside the DIV named "dynoContent" and you are reading now content of file params.txt
loaded inside this div.

ONERROR

This parameter contains the name of the javascript handler function which calls when errors occur while
document loading. In this example it calls the alert(error) passing error string to this
function call.

"AUTHOR and KEY"

These 2 parameters are obligatory. You may use this applet free with KEY "free version"
and a window will popup with a link to my site

If you want to get rid of this link you must register this apptet.
A Valid KEY will remove this popup. Note AUTHOR parameter must remain unchanged
even for the registered version. If AUTHOR value altered, then the applet will work
as an unregistered version.

Methods:

The only public method of applet you need to use is

appletObj.load(Url)

This method informs the applet to start loading the document from the specified URL.
Note: due to the applets security restrictions, the applet can load documents only
from the same server where the applet itself was loaded.
(for more details about java scurity refer to JDK tutorial at http://java.sun.com site)
When the applet is finished loading the document, it will call the javascript handler specified with
ONDOCLOAD parameter and pass the whole loaded document as a string to
this handler function.
