Senario Name: RentVideo Multiple Transactions
Participating actors: Jack: Customer, Diane: cashier
1. Jack approaches the counter and hands "The Abyss" to Diane.
2. Diane asks for Jack's membership card and scans it, entering Jack's membership id, 111.
3. The system displays a new rental transaction, number 000019, under Jack's account and prompts Diane
for the video id of a video to be rented.
4. Diane scans the barcode on "The Abyss", entering the serial number 73125 for this copy.
5. The system shows Diane that "The Abyss" has been added to rental transaction 000019 and prompts for
another video.
6. Diane checks Jack's rental status and sees that he has no late fees or other checked out rentals.
7. Diane tells Jack that his total is $2.00.
8. Jack gives Diane $2.00.
9. Diane takes the money and selects "Print transaction".
10. The system prints the transaction.
11. Diane hands Jack the receipt, his membership id, and "The Abyss."
12. Two days later Jack approaches the counter and hands "Tarzan" to Diane.
13. Diane asks for Jack's membership card and scans it, entering Jack's membership id, 111.
14. The system shows that a rental transaction is currently active under Jack's account. Jack has
no late fees or overdue videos since "the Abyss" is a 5 evening rental. A new rental transaction,
number 000023, is created under Jack's account and the system prompts Diane for the video id of
a video to be rented.
15. Diane scans the barcode on "Tarzan", entering the serial number 03581 for this copy.
16. The system shows Diane that "The Abyss" has been added to rental transaction 000023 and prompts for
another video.
17. Diane tells Jack that his total is $3.00.
18. Jack gives Diane $3.00.
19. Diane takes the money and selects "Print transaction".
20. The system prints the transaction.
21. Diane hands Jack the receipt, his membership id, and "Tarzan."
