Here are our OLE Automation demo apps, using Notes R4.x as an OLE2 client and Word 7 as an OLE2 server in a WinNT/Win95 platform. We made this out of necessity of upgrading a Notes 3.x / Word 6.0c application using Notes/FX, when we realised that 32 bits Notes and Word are no longer FX compatible. We then used OLE Automation to emulate FX, and extended it further to include Word formatting and printing capabilities available to our Notes applications. Needless to say, this technique can be pushed even further to do inside Notes everything the server application can do by itself.

So, we now offer two demo applications, one exchanging data both ways between Notes and Word, and the other one using Word to format and print Notes docs.

Please note these are evaluation demos, with hidden design, hidden script and limited input capabilities. We can supply the code and technical support about the techniques we used so that you Notes application developers can include it in your own work, for a corresponding fee.

Until now we have sent more than 200 demos around the world, having "exported" our technology to companies in the USA, UK and Germany, all of then being fully satisfied with the results.
