-:English Translation:-
I decided to translate the Lebanese national anthem
myself as I was not happy with the available transalation,
I felt that the available translation did not do the
anthem justice, furthermore I felt it actually was not a
correct translation. Try as you might however, the aura
associated with the anthem cannot be translated.
ALL FOR THE NATION
Verse One
All! For the nation, for our Advancement and the Flag!
History is filled with the endeavours of our sword and pen.
Our valleys and the mountains, make our men fearless.
Our words and our efforts are for the sake of perfection.
All! For the nation, for our Advancement and the Flag!
All! For the nation!
Verse Two
Our Elders and our children, they await our nations's call:
We become as Lions of the Jungle when crisis arise.
The East is its heart, for ever Lebanon:
Protected by God till the end of time.
All! For the nation, for our Advancement and the Flag!
All! For the nation!
Verse Three
Its sea and its land are the Gems of the Easts.
Its good deeds flow from pole to pole.
Its name is its glory since the dawn of mankind.
Its cedars are its pride, its eternal symbol.
All! For the nation, for our Advancement and the Flag!
All! For the nation!
