chaos8.dls is identical to the original chaos8m.sf2 except:
- it has been converted to DLS1 format with Audio Compositor 3.3b
- all non-percussion banks except bank 0 have been removed
- only drum kits 0, 8, 16, 24, 25, 32, 40, 48, 56, and 127 are included
- articulations have been moved to the patch level wherever possible
- (4) patches referencing ROM have been replaced by their equivalents from gm.dls
I have included some sample MIDI files, all of which were included in the various Chaos Bank releases.
