Uploading Your HTML File to the Web

1. Open FTP. You will find it with your ISP (Internet Service Provider) software.
2. Log into your site by specifying the address, userid and password.
3. Click 'OK.'
4. Choose the directory which contains the files you want to send from the file and directory list on the left.
5. Choose the destination from the list on the right. Usually when you log onto the site, you are placed in your home directory.
6. To upload (copy a file from your computer to the internet) double-click on the filename.
7. If the file must be given a specific name which is impossible to give in DOS or Windows 3.1 (e.g. WELCOME.HTML) rename it using the 'rename' button once it has been uploaded.
8. Log out of FTP.

Log into your site by specifying the address, userid and password.

To upload (copy a file from your computer to the internet) double-click on the filename.
