ReBoot E-Zine

   ReBoot FAQ:

This is our short online interview / questionnaire with The Director of Communications for Mainframe Entertainment:

1) What were Mainframe's expectations for ReBoot during the first few months of production, and have they changed and how?

There are many other dynamics now. Since the company has increased from the original 5 employees to 230 and we now create shows other than ReBoot, our future plans are on a much broader scale.

3) Is there a certain age group or criteria of audience that the show was primarily aimed at?

The creators originally wanted the show to approach a more adult audience. But when it aired it was geared for children 6 to 11. Today, 6 to 11 is still our largest demographic but we have numerous adult fans as well.

4) How have all the responses from fans such as ReBoot web pages, fan fiction stories, character "shrines", etc. affected the direction of the show in general?

It is excellent to have fans give us their feedback good and bad as our production staff love to hear what they have to say. Fans always give their ideas and suggestions about storylines etc. but we have our writers and story editors who develop/alter the scripts. We don't accept scripts from fans. as it is really a liability issue.

5)Does Mainframe Entertainment support the idea of all the non-profit fan pages such as this one?

Yes we do, as long as their information is correct, and up-to date.

7) What about the character designs; has the appearances of characters been influenced by anything in particular?

The characters were developed by the original creators of the show. Characters are green, blue, red so there is no chance of racial slurs in the show and each character contributes to the concept of life inside a computer. This in turn, helps kids understand how computers work with a little leeway for their imagination to run wild.

And now for the most popular questions that were sure you answered a billion times already:

8) What can fans do to support the production of ReBoot as well as Mainframe Entertainment, so more new episodes can be achieved?

Many fans have already written to broadcasters who previously aired the show in the hopes of bringing it back on air. Unfortuantely, the decision is really up to them - we have no control over when and why they air the show.

9) If Mainframe's finance increases, is there a possibility there will be a 4th season? Has there been any plans for the season 4 plot-line yet?

Nothing has been confirmed about a fourth season yet. We are currently working on various other productions right now.
