I loved him.
Yet I failed them both.
I cannot let myself feel anything;
If I do I'll die too.
Everyone needs me to be strong--
I'm all they have now.
So, I build walls around my heart
dry my tears,
square my shoulders
and accept my responsibility.
I will NOT fail anyone else.
Not as long as there's breath in my body!
I will fight on
until I can fight no longer!
