DGS Homepage
Site owner:
Dean Garraghty
Description:
Homepage of Dean Garraghty Software, supplying PD and commercial software for the Atari 8-bit. Also has on-line articles from the Atari 8-bit News-paper.
Comments:
This is a quick-loading, useful site that is pleasing to view without resorting to a lot of extraneous flash. CAB friendly. 1998 marks 10 years that DGS has been supporting the 8-bit line. From the welcome page you'll find a link to the Atari 8-bit News-Paper on-line list. The list of articles is growing every time I visit (It's up to 15 on 14 September, 1998). Dean is working on producing a history of the 8-bit computers on video - you can pop in there and give him some suggestions, or download the suggestions already received (MS Word 7 format though? That's limiting the audience, even on Windows platforms - how about Rich Text Format Dean?). You can view the DGS catalog or download a zipped version and view the available used hardware & software DGS has available. QUICK and DIGI-STUDIO demos are available for download (You'll be able to read tutorials and development information in the articles section). Naturally, you'll find all the necessary ordering information and a few other areas that I haven't mentioned. Nice work.
