OK, first off...
. I've REALLY updated the Gameranger Funnies page...
I'm gong to be doing the voice-overs for NH 2.0 . COOL, huh? I think so :-) . I got a Funny-ass pic for you guys. This was the endscreen. NO kiding. Someone remarked that they think the crackwhore model waas asking for a dinnermint. You think so ? . Well, it's been long overdue and it's been up since 9/9/99.. And apart from the facelift, thers' some additional things... A listing of NH servers. Since ppl are always askin' if I know what servers are there/working, here ya go. I don't use Gamespy. I use Gameranger. Gameranger is a utility much like Gamespy, only it has chat feature, in rooms, where pople can meet and talk,depending on the games they like; Action/arcade, strategy, etcc. So u will be seeing a section called "gameranger funnies"... it's due to the fact that some pretty darned funy things happen |

I'm playing Q2 at home now!!! WOOHOO!!!! Poor Cyberland and Electric Bean. They are gonna miss me, Electric Bean will probably positively weep. Cyber, too. heh. Dammit... I just realized that Geocities didn't save my updates that I made after 25th June, 'cause I did at LEAST one. Maybe my comp crashed, maybe it was Geocities' fault. I don't remember.
Three things ^^o^^Bat8015(BatBios) is working on a skinpack for us, the clan that brought the NightHunters mod. And here's his drawing of what he thinks pred should look like.here I'm going to put up a listing of the current IP addresses of NH servers in case anyone gets lost, stuff erased, etc. I had the question asked of me before. And my birthday is coming up. WOOHOO!! August 22nd, and I plan to unveil a facelift to my NightHunters section. :-O |

Well, .... what can I say. I was busy doing a "demonstration" showing what I can do in Macromedia Flash for an interview with this company... so I've been bustin' me arse for a week or so bonin' up my skillz... good thing I tend to be obsessive.. long nights, no sleep... (head nods off) Now, I am busy fixing up a web site for a company in Ontario calles Sabre Services. Seems that they spent 8 weeks' pay on some schmo who didn't even give 'em what they wanted. Plus the sound is messed,.. I mean, WAAy messed.. I did an example in Macromedia Flash's demo doing almost all the same things and it took me four days... sheesh... Guess why I got the job... (grin) |

Third thing.. We had a NH dinner!! in honour of the new release.. (at Swiss Chalet) Nice to finally meet DING-DONG, and to ask him about the wife and their mini-doughnut, in person..!!! As of April 19, 1999, Version 1.5 of our NH mod is out. Yes... it is out.. it's okay to cry with relief. The BatCave, needless to say, uses the New NH mod, 1.5. When you connect to a Night Hunters server, you may automatically download all the sounds and graphics if the server allows downloads, but the predator model MAY NOT DOWNLOAD CORRECTLY, so you SHOULD DOWNLOAD THE CLIENT FROM THE BATCAVE instead! .......... Made some changes to P1lot 's bio.---I had a coupla b00-b00'$. Apparently BatCat was the one who dragged him into the mess. EEck! Apart from that, he just got some company. Swat[PCI] 's moving into the rarified space air he's occupied by himself, and will be sharing the rarified air he's ben breathng ... (no catfights, pleeze..) Swat's providing the virtual space for us, and is a loveable lump of a NH newbie.. who's improving..(sh!t !!) |

Candyass (Caneadiss) was here! In the BatCave!! WOW!! .......... Vampire^^bat^^ told me about an incident at home, involing a plumber ... he was dying to tell me.. (OY..) apparently the guy was bending over, he was passing by, so he put a pencil down his "big, hairy crack"... apparently, it was huge (the crack, that is)... Vamp was really cracking up when he said "You shoulda seen him try to get it out!!" Actually(shudder), I don't wanna... Vamp's thirteen, if you were wondering.. |

Added P1lot to my page--- as something more than just a regular, or an honourary bat, or even an honourable visitor, to our NH server . I was an egg enough to forget him. EEck! Apart from that, I just learned some very interesting and pertinent facts about him.
His history's interesting, go check it out... He's a DiG, and was a Bat at one point. He's the one who pioneered the link between the DiG's and the Bats. See, I K.N.E.W. there was a reason why I put that e-mail link up right there! Also added Headstone as a regular. |

Just saw the NH pred model today ... (BatCat brought a couple of us to the test server and put the new 1.5 NH mod version in....) and it is good. Just a coupla more tweeks. Like the Vwep positioning... HEY, the weapon itself is cool though. And for those who hadn't seen anything else but the see-through female, it will be a CHANGE of scene . (Although I AM sad to see the female gone..) o well. (wipes away tear)
So far the death anim is a nice touch, methinks....(although some1 suggeted that the person who killed pred should be "ripping pred's heart out and eating it"..) err, a BIT much.... besides, there's kiddies playing, ya know... It's running sequence could do with a little sprucing, especially when it s running backwards. It Could be a litttle more scary.. and I personally would like to see a nicer skin..but it will do. Pretty good beta pred model all around. Fragu also suggested (sincerely, she said) that there should be an object pickup, so that you don't make any walking sounds for 30 seconds,...... a pair of sneakers. The damn thing is, after you finish laffing, it hits you as NOT a bad idea.. I don't think BatCat thought that she was being serious, though.. he didn't answer her when she asked him a couple of times on what he thought. :-) |

I was playing Q1 all day today, to get the feel of it,.. server and mod hopping .. And I feel like I did when I first started playing Q2. :-() Apart from that,.. Q1 mulitplayer BLOWS. (ONE BIG Reason: The goddamn rockets. It's damned ridiculous. You can't do sh!t once someone has a single shot at you.. you fly too goddamn high.. no wonder they toned down the rocket splash damage..) the models, or should I say, model.. yech, square everything; that was a big turn-off .. and the map colours are BUTT UGLY. And I thought Q2 had a bit too much of tan and brown drab .. Puke brown and snot-nose coloured greens all over the damn place. And just where the hell did they get THAT tone of blue, in Claustophobolis especially ?!?!!! (CUSTOM MAPS RAWK, tho.. they are THE SH!T) My fave custom maps that I have seen so far.. (lemme go look at' em.. brb..) I am afraid to allow anymore downloads of maps (definitely no more skins) .... oy, they'll take up too much space.... |

I was involved in various personal projects, and the like, so I wasn't checking my email
(ONE BIG Reason:I fell off my chair, got a big shock and had heart palpitations when I logged in and was floored with the sudden fact that Hotmail is using cookies now.. and I wanted to find an alternative to allowing these suckers, after 3 out of the four had ths MS prefix for the auth. THAT discouraged me from reading the email.. besides, I wanted to find a kill-the cookie utility..)
BUt, all in all I've spent a little too much time surfing,... so I am going to spend the better part of the day in front of a computer again playing Quake (the evening is the best bet...around 8 p.m. Cyberland cafe has a Q2 tourney) |
