--You see, if there is one thing that people hate, and will risk losing a point to kill you for, is people who who light others up with their flashlight. And get them killed.
. You have to understand. There will be a 99.9% chance that BatCat will be pred. And BatCat+pred=^^GoD^^ with wings. And BatCat has a sixth sense, and even if you turn your light on for a split second, he will snipe you within that time... it seems almost instantaneous. Most people are racking their brains trying to figure out how to sneak up on him. And figure where the hell he is now, 'cause they just got sniped.
So it is understandable when you are doing all this and there is someone who just has to put their light everywhere, into every nook and cranny, or is waiting with you for weapons with their light on, is following you with their flashlight on you like some form of demonic spotlight, or waits until they are right next to you to turn their lights on and off repeatedly!
If BatCat is not pred, he will kill you instantly. Most people don't even have time to blink; "WTF??!!" He'll tell you to turn yer friggin' light off after...maybe

--Trigger happy assholes
a These are the ones who just don't seem to get the idea that you don't shoot everything that moves. You've told them three million times to watch it! They kill you to get at the pred, or they just don't aim..
I mean really aim bad...
"Is my light blue?" "Do I look like the pred to you?" BiosInfect will normally ask, "What are you using to aim? A blind-fold?"
b And there are the ones who just DON'T CARE who they shoot. They just shoot you, or they shoot you thinking it's funny .."I was just joking around..."
c A couple even come on the server, kill four marines, get the auto-kick, and then come again&again&again&... (!!)
d And then there are some who just DEFY description. They run around with their lights on just Pea-shooting with their blaster.... (??!!)
BatCat's solution... kick you right out......second stage, he kills your app; all of a sudden you're looking at your desktop.... third stage (I'm not gonna say The Final Solution, it's too Natzi :-) ) What do you get ladies and genltemen? You earn a free IP ban!

--The name thing
. umm... {BatCat, being the instigator of the clan, is especially sensitive about this...} If you are fooling around with the Bat name, especially; have the name Player; assume others' names and then say irritating or offensive things; or are just messing around and being an idiot in general, then, um, if you do not heed the humble warnings you will get kicked (Hey, even I am not immune)

--The gesture thing
This is also one of my peeves. A pox upon the person who invented signature gestures for the Quake 3D characters.
. OK. So you're killing a LITTLE time waiting for weapons or armour to respawn, for pred to pass by, no reason whatsoever,.... whatever.
Exactly why the F*** do you think I want to watch you grab yer virtual crotch or give me the virtual finger for 5 minutes straight? With yer goddamn light on? Why the hell are you following me now? Go bother someone else...! {Sometimes they shoot at you too!}
{In addition to other ppl}, BatCat is not fond of this either, (although I have climbed on his head then jumped up and down, just to bug him... DON'T you try it!) Guess what he does..NO, no, no! Lemme tell you! He kills you instantly and then kicks you if you keep pissing him off.

--Bind flooding
hook, hook, hook...unhook...unhook... grapplegrapplegrapplegrapplegrapple....
This is really annoying.
. You see it all down your page. Why the hell are they still pressing the goddamn key? Can't they SEE?
"Unbind yer key!" "Type unbind (whatever key you bound it to)!"
"Stop pressing the key or unbind it!" "Moron!" "Idiot!" "Stop it!"
"Unbind your key or you'll get kicked"
"Warning stop pressing the key or you'll get kicked"
"Warning stop flooding or you'll get kicked"
"Gone."

--Language.
. Go ahead. Try it. TRY to insult any of the ADMINs more that three times. Try and be foul and offensive to anyone, everyone. Guess what you'll earn...(awww, you learn QUICKLY, dontcha?)

. OK. So you're a bit clueless as to why the hell is it so dark. It IS a new mod for you, after all... Oh, you don't kill marines? You kill the predator only? What's a pred?
Basic questions.. But, when you first enter the server, a square box shows up on the screen and you have to scroll and select enter to get in.. the answers are all there if you only read.. BatCat will normally say, "Everything is in the menu, hit tab twice."
PS. In the upcoming version of the mod, you won't be able to enter unless you hit the key that you bound for your flashlight... that should kill a lot of birds with one stone.
Most people don't seem to know that, to get to the menu, they hit tab twice. Fine. Now you know. There is additional info there, for your own benefit.
But...(sigh) some people do not want to take the extra sixty seconds or two minutes to do this.
They whine, they persist in asking the same INANE question, "Just tell me qiuckly, how do I get a flashlight?" "What's a flare?" "Cmon, tell me!" And because they haven't read the menu, when they see pred go poof before their eyes they are like, what the hell was that? A TELEPORT??!! How the hell do you do that? If they become pred they don't know how to anchor and recall.
After BatCat tells you where to find the info, he don't answer ya. Most others won't either. (I MIGHT, just to get you to shut up.)
And if, as a consequence of being lazy, you do all the things that you're not supposed to do, like killing marines, have bad configurations, all the things I have already mentioned, then I suggest that you read all of the above...

...and READ the menu(i.e. the m.o.t.d) before you come in. That's why it pops up! and it will be dark... get it..NightHunters..dark...
