Comments: Great get-together at Vito's, enjoyed talking about the good old times very much. I tried to be a good citizen and had my wife pick me up after the party was over. The next day I had a very interesting reunion with my car which I had left at Vito's parking lot: some St. Patricks day revellers (or some DPIers that had missed the party?) had turned it on its side ! The transmission fluid had leaked out, and on occasions like this it is good to be an AAA member. No sweat, I replaced the fluid and the car started moving again. Ready for the next reunion (although I will probably try a taxi). It was great seeing you all again ! To Carol: if you feel some nostalgia for the good old piano-playing days, there is some music on my web site. |

Comments: Hi everyone, Here I am still up in Greenville, CA and have been here since May 1986 when Cully retired. We spent two years building our home. We spent the next eleven years working on the property, Cully was the town handyman, I took classes at FRC, our community co lege in Quincy, 25 miles away, received my degree in Pack Station, Stable Management in 1991. In 1992 I joined the Board of Trustees for FRC and have been a sitting board member ever since. In January 1997, Cully was suspected to have Prostate Cancer an it was confirmed on March 3rd. On May 10 of that year he passed away. I am still here. I have two dogs, live at the end of the third dirt road and have installed a 10KVA propane generator that is completely automatic. When PG&E fails, my generator cl cks on and my life is not affected in the least. I am in the Life Long Learning stage of my life and continue to take classes at FRC. I was inducted into the Phi Theda Kappa honor society last November. I had been invited for years and did nothing abou accepting until November. I visited Hawaii for ten days in January with a group from Plumas County and had a wonderful time. The weather is rain, snow, rain with no accumulation of the snow. The streams are brown with run-off and my seasonal stream is really streaming. I really love the sound of the water flowing by and pulsing over the stones in the stream bed. Dear Bill, This web site is WONDERFUL! When the Sunnyvale facility was closed
and we were packing up our stuff, Lou Christensen would walk around singing
"Turn Out The Lights the Party's Over". Bill, thanks to you and all the
