Hi Bill!
I found out about the web site by accident, just surfing the web. Sometimes I do Google searches on the names of people I've lost touch with over the years, just to see what I come up with. Well, anyway, I happened to remember how to spell "Boltauzer" (probably because he was my boss), so I did a Google search on "Paul Boltauzer". Usually when I do searches like that I don't get anything on who I was looking for, but the name "Boltauzer" is uncommon enough to have lead me to the DPI web page.
Sure, go ahead and add me to the Email list. Thanks.
I've attached a group picture of the folks at E&M Orlando (I noticed no Orlando pics on your page). I don't remember when it was taken, probably mid 80's. If you look closely, you can find Paul, Jeff Hoover, Brian Brown, Vic Munn, Patti Heising, and lots of other DPI folks. I'm the kid in the front row (sixth from the right).
I have some sad news. Remember Robert Brandon? You worked with him on the "Ports Controller" - you guys invented a serial protocol to connect it up to the Tower (I coded a lot of it). Anyway, he retired from NCR in 2000, and is not doing well. He has something called "Picks Disease" which is a lot like Alzheimers, but progresses more rapidly. His brothers are now taking care of him in Alabama.
I've bookmarked your page, and I'll be sure to check in now and then to see if there are any updates. Like I said, Cool Page!
Take care,
Jim
