In my opinion, Asia Vieira is at her best in her recent work with "Flash Forward." She played a "frisky" teenager by the name of Christine Harrison. Together with her three best friends, Becca (Jewel Staite), Tucker (Ben Foster), and Miles (Theodore Borders), they made quite a team. The show had problems which I can relate to. That might have been a school dance or a boyfriend/girlfriend thing. Asia may have been a co-star but she was good at it and did it with emotion. Her beauty really stood out in the series if you ask me. I enjoyed watching her perform in "FF" and I absolutely could not miss an episode of "FF." Too bad "FF" was recently cut by Disney due to lack of finances. (Disney? Out of money? I don't get it either.) "FF" is over and it really upsets me to see four young talents go to waste. (More just below...)

Well, recently was the very last EP of FF. It was wonderful. I felt it was a great way to end a season... but not the series! This one started off with Becca writing a play in which she has hopes of getting it performed. Becca recruits her "all-too-soft" science teacher to direct it. Through the begining rehearsals, the director starts babbling about the "stealing part." (They were doing "Robin Hood.") So, she gets it changed and Becca and Tucker end up with a kissing scene as a "Maiden Marienne" (sp?) and "Robin Hood." Naturally, the two freak out. All through the show you find them griping and explaining the whole kissing bit. From there, the play starts to fail and Asia takes over. ("Christine" kind of reworked the script again at this point.) At the end, they have to go through with it. Before going out for the performance, it is decided upon that they must practice. Becca leans into Tucker and they end up backing off. They try once more and a passionate kiss is exchanged among the two. Becca reacts and ends this wonderful series by stating Tucker's infamous line, "What are the odds!" I wanted to cry! It will never be known what would happen next and that pisses me off. That was the main highlight but Asia had a bigger role in this one. She ended up becoming one of the stage managers for Becca's play. No one seems to listen to her and she gets so upset at things. Miles, the other stage director, seems to do what she can't do and that makes things even worse. Finally at the end, she just goes off and takes over the whole play. Asia was just great in the closer.

For the rest of her many works, I've not had the chance to see them. I have seen "Home Alone," but that was a long time ago. Then, I didn't know Asia and I was young and everything is fuzzy. Asia would be young as well and having a smaller role, she'd be hard to catch. Although I've not seen these, they must be pretty good, because Asia has had several major roles in various works as you see above. I'd like to somehow see all of them and pick out Asia and study her acting.
