ClockLock Release Level 1.0.2 This application consists of one runfile: ClockLock.run Product Name : ClockLock Supported On : B24, B26, B27, B28, B38, B39, and all SuperGen hardware Supported OS : BTOS II, CTOS I, CTOS II, CTOS III Description : The ClockLock utility installs on your server workstation and allows only one specific user to change the system time clock. This is useful in environments where users cause problems by changing the clock when they sign onto the system or use the Executive Set Time command. Any unauthorized user that tries to change the system time will receive the error 219, Access Denied. Directions/Use : ClockLock requires one parameter to install, the username of the single user that will be permitted to change the clock or deinstall ClockLock. This is the username of their .user file unless the file has an entry for :SignOnUserName: setting their username to something else. To install ClockLock use the /Install ClockLock command or in a SysInit.JCL file; add the following line: $RUN [Sys]ClockLock.run, Admin This will permit only someone signed onto the system with Admin.user to change the clock or deinstall ClockLock. To deinstall ClockLock you must be signed on as the privileged user and either run ClockLock.run with Case DE, or use the /Deinstall ClockLock command.
