![]() 16 frame Football Animation Nov, 1996 |
Title: "Da Football" Software: Alias PowerAnimator, Adobe Photoshop, Gif Builder Date Completed: November, 1996 About: This Is an animation of a rotating football that was constructed on an SGI computer, using Alias software. It started it out as a an alias animation file, that could only be viewed on the SGI. I then rendered the 16 frames of the animation as individual TIFF picture files. From there, I converted them into gifs, and brought them into Gif Builder so they could be animated. The final image you see to your left, is a 256 color animated gif, that has a transparent background. |

Blinking Frog![]() 3 frame "blinking frog" animation Aug, 1996 |
Title: "Phrogg" Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Gif Builder Date Completed:August, 1996 About: Here you can see a small animation of a a blinking frog. I created this animation during a summer job I working as a Bitrush Web Designer. (Link possibly down). During the summer, my group worked in conjunction with the Ontario Science Centre (OSC), where we created a web page for one of their newest exhibitions, "The Tropical Rainforest". The frog image was a still framed picture that the science centre artists had created. I took the single image, and re-created it in Adobe Illustrator. From Illustrator, I was able to adjust the frogs eyelid for the last 2 frames. When this was complete, the single illustrator files, were converted into gifs, and taken into Gif Builder, where they were complied into a 3 frame animation. The actual one that the science centre used was much larger, but I chose to reduce the size for a quicker downloading time. |
