Reconfigurable logic still have limited commercial applications. Image processing and DSP applications are the most dedicated applications to evolve first as plug-in cards to the computers. Also, FPGA Coprocessors can be used in video cards to increase the performance of the system. This is because these applications need bit level calculations with high efficiency and low cost [14,11]. FPGA systems will not replace microprocessors for general purpose computing tasks in the near future [14], instead it will be good approach to use them as coprocessors for special tasks and they may appear in mother boards of the computers5. Stand alone systems still need much more time to be developed.
