The RX-802 was very flexible, with connection for 2 sets
of speakers and 2 tape recorders with copying both ways. 2 phono
inputs. High/low filters and a loudness function. Tone controls
were dual-concentric. It had tuning meters for "max"
and "best" signal. Also AM.

The European version did not have AC outlets and all connections
were via DIN-standard plugs. The rather large cooling fins can
be seen at the bottom of the back. The pre and power amps were
connected via U-connectors at the rear, making it possible to
split the signal path if need be.

At this non-european version can be seen AC outlets and the
pring-loaded speaker teminals. "Our" version had DIN
speaker connectors - no AUX AC outlets. These receivers
were made in Japan, the cheaper model at Taiwan.

Nearest can be seen the 2 phono input connectors - RCA-plugs
- the European version had DIN-connectors. There is a toggle
switch for phono input sensitivity. While "our" version
had U-conncetors to separate pre and power-amp., this version
has a switch and RCA-connectors.
