This ad could be seen in the 1970 edition of the British Hi-Fi Year Book. These were now the two main products of Tripletone. In addition, the Concerto speaker cabinet and two separate twin-cone speaker drivers. The amp yielded 2x10 watts in 8 ohms (2x8 in 16 ohms). The tuner boasted a sensitivity of 2-3 uV for 20 db quietening. Max s/n: 46 db. Not too impressive. According to a contemporary test it had a very effective automatic AFC-control.Electronic components were said to be very good and the stereo amplifiers had totally separated power amps with separate power supplies. As can be seen - prices were very low! |
