Pokémon Pikachu is the most unique virtual pet that you'll ever
meet. It's a walking companion, an alarm clock, and a digital
mini-game rolled into one. Pikachu is an active pet who
demands a lot of attention; so be sure you're ready for the
responsibility before bringing Pikachu home.
Pikachu will get upset if you don't invite it to go places with you.
Pikachu is the only virtual pet that actually counts your steps as
you walk. If Pikachu feels you exercising, it will walk, run, or
ride a bike along with you. The more active you are, the happier
Pikachu becomes.
Pikachu builds up points called watts, which you can give to
Pikachu. Giving Pikachu gifts will help to build your friendship,
and Pikachu will reward you with a smile, a back flip, or dance
of joy. If you check in on Pikachu throughout the day, you might
catch it taking a nap, or reading a book. It's a good thing that
Pikachu isn't easily embarrassed, because sometimes you can
accidentally catch it taking a bath!
There are lots of ways to have fun with your Pikachu, but
whatever you do, don't ignore it. Pikachu's feelings are easily
hurt, and it will ignore you right back.
