Thunder Days
Once a bird stepped onto the field
Pride grasped in his hands
He flew gracefully into the wind
And time grew short, he knew the
end was near
The snow came
And the sun faded away
Four months passed before the bird
would remember how to fly
The sun dared to peak through once
more
Like *FiRe* running through the
veins of a cheetah
The bird dared to step onto the
track
Struck down by lightning the other
animals laughed
With his yellow, black and orange
feathers, he would not give
He wore these colors with pride
and no one was going to take that away
They shot, yelled and tried to run
down this bird
But set a flight by the lightning
that now runs through his veins
He knew he would survive this war
The struggle within soon would
come again
After proving himself all was
taken away with one slip of the foot
This bird struggled for the next
year and a half
Trying to find his *Spark*
Three months ago he found that
spark
It wasn't too late, and the bird
knew this
Set a flight once more he raced
Striking all with fear he ran like
the lightning that gave him his power
As the final seconds ran down his
dream was once more shattered
Stolen and taken away
For the green and white wildcat
cheated!
Since that day has passed the
colors of this bird now shine through once more
Is the world ready?
Can you survive this vengeance
Beware of the bird
For five months of flying is all
he needs
As he steps back onto the field of
dreams once passed
All returns
Faith, Courage, Victory!
It'll take four months to learn
how to rebuild this creature
But when the eighth month arrives
beware
*FiRe* is on the way, and 10.9 is
not
