I, the undersigned, H. Hünke, head of the ESPRIT Coordinating and Infrastructure Unit of Directorate General XIII of the European Commission in Brussels, hereby certify that

has been employed in my Unit from 1st December 1988 to 15 May 1990 in the capacity of temporary agent of the Commission as a specialist in computer graphics and electronic publishing.

Mr Salvi has applied himself diligently to his work and maintained good relationships with his colleagues. His specific responsibilities have included the production of the 1988 ESPRIT Annual Report and the 8-volume set of ESPRIT Synopses.

The successful completion of the automation of the latter task has made a significant contribution to the productivity of the section, and testifies to Mr Salvi's ability to tackle complex tasks in an organised manner.
