This used to be Mac's strongest selling point, but PC's are catching up fast. As for now, I get millions of colors on my office G3 and only 24-bit true color on my Pentium 200. You have to either drag a CD/Disk icon into trash or highlight it and do that damn command+E shit. If your system has crashed or something, tough luck, baby. You'll have to find yourself a paper clip and poke into that damn hole. At times like this, I'm reminded of the importance of freedom. Price. I know Apple is lowering their prices for the new products, but a better equipped PC will still cost less. Same thing goes for accessories, Mac is too rich for most people's blood. A top-of-the-line Mac does, in many ways, compete with a Pentium PC. But why pay a fortune for a Mac when you can get a much inexpensive PC with similar or even better performance. Memory management. My all-in-one G3 has 160 MB of ram. You'd thought this is more than you would ever need, right? Hell no! Every time I have Photoshop, Navigator and a BBS client running concurrently, the damn thing complains about shortage of memories. My home PC has only 32 MB of ram, but it runs like Michael Johnson on drugs. Apple is trying to phase out floppy drives. They demonstrating their evil plot by eliminating floppy drive on their new iMac. This ain't wise. Like many people, I still use my floppy drive to transfer text files and things like that. Pick on something of your own size, Apple. Lack of softwares. You go to any software store across the nation, and compare their Mac sections with the PC sections. You tell me the difference. There are just too few Macintosh softwares. This is especially true on the Internet. Whenever I want to download a Internet program, 4 out of 5 don't have Mac version. It sucks big time. Sure, you can run a Virtual PC and use all the softwares. But hello?! Why go virtual when you can use a genuine PC? Mac crashes more often than a PC, provided both machines are finely tuned and equally equipped. And a Mac takes a lifetime to start.TOP Now, Mac users... Mac users are like members of a evil cult. They have their own newspaper, magazines and their own computer stores. They can't be educated nor can they be eliminated. Mac users will probably be the most stubborn folks that you're gonna encounter. They refuse to be informed about the advancements in the PC world. I have this friend, he's a die-hard Mac user who trashes PC every day. When he was asked about his PC experience, the reply was shocking. All his PC knowledge comes from Windows 2.0 that he has used for a brief period of time like 100 years ago. They think they are some kind of saints. They really do. Mac users have this annoying arrogance. By using a Mac, they think it makes a person superior from the rest. Wake up and smell the PC. Buch of losers! Macs make many Mac users isolated from the rest computing communities. They gradually become a group of mentally unstable and often paranoid. Many of them longing for completely reclusion. I think there should be a nationwide program(like AA, perhaps,) that helps Mac users recover from the negative influence of the Mac. Folks at Apple are up to no good. I heard they have removed all the licenses from the companies that make the Mac clones. One reason many people hate Microsoft is because it's becoming a monopoly in the software industry. When you think about that, Apple is even worse. They make everything themselves: from software to specially marked diapers. They do not allow anyone who gets in their way, partially because they can't afford to have any competitions. Given the opportunity, Apple will crush all the companies that attempt to race with them. Luckily, the beleaguered company is not doing that well. Speaking of Microsoft, I think Mac users should be thankful for the company than anybody else. The former rival, Microsoft, could simply choose to kick Apple in the ass by not supporting the platform. But what did the Microsoft get after implementing a million Mac version softwares? They get a bunch of damn Mac users blaming the Microsoft products for their frequent crashes. Oh yeah, have you heard of that Windows 95 Sucks? I can bet a dollar that it was written by a bunch of idiot Mac nuts. Mac users are are good illusionists. They create an imaginary Utopia by shielding the reality. I do feel pity for them. Have you seen those Apple TV commercials? They deliver only one message: PCs are worthless pieces of shits. Why does a company of that size has to attack its competitors in such a way? Not because their products are better. On the contrary, they need to do that in order to beguile the new computer users into their evil cult. Based on my, and many multiplatform computer users: Macs are not better than PCs, period.
