As a result of exams held on November 6th 1999, and some frantic efforts to get to the mailed results in FAMPARC's post office box, and consequent visits to the ACA, several new call signs could be heard as of late December. Gary Stapleton (VK3LGS), Diarna Zoldak (VK3HUR), Ian Dunlop (VK3HAM), Andrew Aouzoulas (VK3HAA), Daniel Hume (VK3TAA), Paul Ashby (VK3HSV) Congratulations and well done! Also a well done to the class teacher (VK3YG) and class coordinator (VK3TE), who, in spite of major disruptions in the last term, managed to keep FAMPARC's record of a high pass rate in AOCP and NAOCP exams at its usual high standard. We know of several people who,  not withstanding the international developments on the CW scene (abolishing of examinations above 5 WPM), want this year to upgrade, either to Novice or Full Call.
