Enough can not be said about "Sweetie Pete", he has charm, class, size, temperament, strength, nobility and is very masculine the perfect example of what a German Shepherd should be. He is a bundle of joy to be around and every one that meet's him loves him at first sight. He is without question what everyone would want in a GSD! We are so proud of him and Sugar because of the puppies they have already given us, we have decided that for Sugar's final litter we will repeat the breeding between her and Pete.
When we decide on a partner for our females we look at every side of the picture that‘s in front of us we also look at what is BEHIND that picture (the pedigree). We try to see the “shadow’s” that occasionally shine through in every dog. We are cautious for several reasons, first and foremost we want to make sure we produce the right temperament, then of course good physical attributes, but as you know a pretty German Shepherd is no good with out the right attitude. When we breed we always think about what we will be contributing to the gene pool and the life we will be bringing into this world, "it's not JUST A DOG to us”. Our breeding program is important to us, but it’s even more important to the person getting the puppy.
We have first hand knowledge of Pete and the dog's in his pedigree. Pete does not have any genetic defects that we know of, his OFA is good (hips and elbows). The abundance of quality in the 8 progeny Sugar and Pete produced previously takes all the guess work out of this litter. We already know that the genetic quality between Pete and Sugar works.

Sugar is a feminine bitch that is able to produce herself over and over in every litter which makes her a true breeding asset. Sugar is beauty and grace but best of all a German Shepherd!
She's great at bringing home the blue too, either first hand or her babies! Sugar has had 4 litters and there has been at least ONE pup in EACH LITTER that has walked into the show ring a puppy and walked out with a ribbon and on the road to stardom. Needless to say SUGAR IS A WONDERFUL GIRL!!!
