I moved the Cheetax web write-up pages to the cheetax/ PBEM game
directory, and I added the Cheetah form write-up. In many ways it's
like Cheetax - not as tough (less armor) or strong, but can run
faster, and has Tracking Scent. I added in Disadvantages, and took the
liberty of presuming that the more complex psychological
disadvantages(code vs killing, hates CIA) did not apply to the simpler
animal - see the Notes section. There's also a different and smaller
animated GIF. :-) if there's anything you don't like - try editing it
yourself. Save the file to your computer, open the improved HtmlHero
program at
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/2013/HtmlHero/
select INPUT HTML, copy and paste in the entire sheet, and edit. It
will check the characteristics and total cost math for you. When
you're done, select Save HTML, and email it back to me - I'll put it
up again!
The Cheetah form writeup is at
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/2013/cheetax/cheetah.html
and the cheetax.html and alexis.html have similarly been moved to the
cheetax/ directory, with the archived turns.

[ Good. Thought balloons, I get it. You won't get them from the NPCs
though, of course, since you're not psychic. Body language will have
to do. ]
> [**This man talks like "Old Boss Man" [did we ever decide what his name
> was other than the hard man and soft man?].**
[ "Hard Man" and "Soft Man" were their code names inside the CIA
research laboratory. You never heard them called other than
that. Laura might know more, or might not. The Hard Man was the more
military-oriented leader type, the Soft Man was, or at least acted
like, a psychiatrist. Re-read the story of turn 1 for better ideas of
their personalities - Laura would have told Alexis all that. Besides
them, you were also trained in combat by an oriental martial artist
code named Tutor, who tended to giggle a bit at odd moments. Laura
said he was psychotic. Cheetax remembered him about Turn 2, remember?
In general, the "worker" and "scientist" types at the CIA laboratory
went by more normal names, Fred, Gina, and Dr. Such-and-such, while
the CIA "spy" types went by code names. If you want to invent more of
what went on inside the Langley Super-soldier project laboratory, feel
free - I certainly intend to, as the opportunity comes up! ]
> Cheetax looks to Virgil "You talk like 'Old Boss Man'. 'Old Boss Man'
> was mean"....
Doctor D. grins. "Virgil, m'man, you so high and mighty, the lady
thinks you sound just like Whitey. Shut your mouth and let me do the
talking or the pussycat just might do some walking."
Virgil is not pleased, and opens his mouth to retort... but then
thinks about it, and closes it again. He waves his hand onward and
purses his lips.
"See? He may be the boss, but he takes advice. He have ta act mean -
he really be nice. They call us the Wordsmen, 'cause we each talk
funny, but no one laughs when we make the money. Want to join us,
honey? Just tell us your name, we'd be glad to have you play our
game."
> > > As the Dr. D and Virgil approach me [if I see them] I will shout to them
> "No!, You leave, I fight for you. You go home to safety."
Virgil leans to D., and whispers, "Though I would never presume to
INTRUDE upon your NEW FOUND status as chief negotiator... may I
suggest we WITHDRAW? Some TENSION seems to be caused by our close
APPROACH. And your MARTIAL accoutrement there does not HELP any
either." Cheetax's excellent hearing catches the whisper perfectly.
The two men move back a few steps.

[ Oh yes. You've got UV vision, you can see in the dark perfectly, and
you're not that busy with fighting at the moment. I try to tell you
the things your character would know. Well, that, and the game
mechanics - but only those explaining game events your character would
sort of perceive otherwise, as additional description. ]

> "NO! Not bother her! She is caring for her wounded!".
Doctor D. adds to Cheetax's call. "Hey 'mouth! Back off, you mess our
play. We will fix that girl another way."
> Cheetax is very confused at this point. These victims are acting more
> like attackers? Cheetax is really wishing Alexis was here to help

[ Hrr. You did take Accidental Change "when confused or frustrated",
11-, uncommon - but if something like this were to set it off, it
would go off more than "uncommon" would dictate, and would really
threaten the secret ID. If you think *this* encounter is confusing,
you ain't seen nothin' yet! I'll let you control it for now - if
you say this shouldn't trigger the AC, that seems reasonable.]
> > [ Phase 10: Cheetax, your action!]
> Cheetax turns to Virgil, "Where gifts you talk about. Me want see."
Virgil looks at the Doctor, but D. is paying attention to the fight
off in the distance. "Oh, GIFTS. Presents, freely given, for the
recipients DELIGHT. Just like candy - for ADULTS. Is this REALLY the
best time, in the midst of COMBAT?..." He gestures towards the
blue-clad youth with the tiger's head pendant.
> If he refuses, Chetax will repeat it adding "...Now!".
"Well, if you insist... I BELIEVE some remain in the BAG Foulmouth
left behind, and in the CAR. We will fetch them, while you DEAL with
this miscreant - SATISFACTORY?"
[ Positions have not changed. Next phase will be Phase 12, Cheetax
will again act first. Phase 10 was used in waiting for Virgil's
response. ]
