About This Site

This site made her first appearance early 97. I didn't remember the date. But is was a mere test for having a personal web page. Later on, after gathering the information, I finally managed to get it done and made her official launch on December 1997.

scanner.gif (5439 bytes) This site is created formerly using Microsoft Office 97, then, Microsoft FrontPage 2.0, but since Microsoft FrontPage has some limitation therefore I choose to tweak it using Windows Notepad. The machine used to create this site is an old 486DX 33Mhz with 8Mb of RAM and 120Mb harddisk space! (believe it or not). Now, I have a new (old?) Pentium 100Mhz and a 460Mb harddisk to serve me.

A colour flatbed Genius Photo-Live scanner has been used to scan all the photographs. Some of the pictures might a bit blur, this is because of the JPEGs compression format is used to save the picture.

about.jpg (10967 bytes) This site uses repeated graphics, such as, logo, background, and even the buttons. Downloading process is very fast as all the javalogo.gif (1286 bytes) pages are around 30 Kbytes. The images has been optimized with 2 Images Editor, ImagePal2 and WebImage (for making transparent Gifs and image maps). This site uses global HTML tag that can be supported by many browsers. Although globality is my concern, but user of Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator can have their own optimized function. This site also optimized for recent version of Internet Explorer and Netscape Communicatior.

There is no annoying background music, Java Script dialog box, large JAVA Applets, plugins and I guaranteed that this site won't crash your browser, due to heavy processing.

My next option is to upgrade this site using Style Sheet, but in the same time not to ignore the less advance browser.
