Welcome Y2K, personally speaking I'm one of
the persons who thinks the next millenium (21st Century) starts at 2001. Well who cares,
2000 is a bit simpler to say than 2001. The updates for this month.

Search Engine working again!. This is a very simple, stupid
& dirty work. The search engine will list every page that have the keyword you
entered. I will refine them during the holidays.

Malaysia General Election goes smoothly and
guess what? Mahathir wins again. No updates this month because test is around the corner.
Ferrari won the Maker Championship but Mika won the driver ChampionShip. Fair? Don't you
think so?

My monitor broke down, :-( (so sad).
I'm not surprised, since the monitor served me for nearly 7 years. Anyone wants to sponsor
me a new monitor??

The HTML tutorial is now available from several server
(yahoo, xoom, geocities).

I will release the new update for the HTML tutorial next
month, after my exams. :-)

I did write a request to upload this tutorial to SimTelNet
web server, but the reply said that I must have an English Version of the tutorial before
I can submit my Malay version file to them. Well, I have to think many times before I
convert them to English Version. This is because, there are many html tutorial in English.
I don't want to waste my time writing what is already there in the Internet.
Through the web statistic, I realised that site has +-400
visitors permonth referred from numbers of search engine. |

A new section. JavaApplet section which includes some of my
java applets here. For a first step, I had included an album applet which is used to view
photograph is a decent and interesting manner. You can download, customize and use it in
your website. It's free. No charge.
Next month, a java fighter game. Wait for it's release.

Telekom University moved to CyberJaya, the center of technology in Malaysia. The name
changed to MultiMedia Telekom University, UMMT. Nice place, new facilities, thousands of
computers and smartcard implementation. I even heard that the smartcard facilities will be
implemented in our bookshops, clinics and even our cafes. Wow!, I always wonder if there
are ways I can add RM1000 to my smartcard monthly? does anybody out there have a smartcard
writer??

What a festival, after Hari Raya then Chinese
New Year.
Bad News
My 120M harddisk crash, one which comes with my old 486. The one with the updates for
January 1999. pity you. Second, I would not include the site channel for my tutorial. The
reason.. most people are too lazy to use the channel bar.
Good News
I got a new computer!!, a classic Aptiva 100Mhz Pentium together with 32Mb RAM, CD Drive
and Modem/Sound Card priced RM250. Well, this is the best deal I ever get from my
housemate. But, the computer comes with no harddisk.. again, I sneaked up my mom's office
and found an old 386sx with a 400Mb harddisk. Better than none. DriveSpaced it, I got
810Mb. Well, I lived with 120Mb harddisk for 7 years, 810Mb is more than enough.
Well, I will try to include the geocities banner in my web site. Just because it is too
irritating to have the pop-ups.
