Buggy Cars
Hold the following buttons down when the Galaga 88 game has loaded up:
L1, R1, Down, Select. Use the Triangle button to shoot the super laser and
destroy all of the enemy ships. When the game starts all of the bars have been
changed into buggies
Mirror on/off:
Pause the game while in the "driver's view" and hit the following
buttons:
Triangle & L1
Extra Cars
Get a perfect score (40) in the opening game of Galaga '88
Secret Bonus
If you let all 40 aliens pass by and get a score of 0 in Galaga '88, a short
firework display will signal the mode is activated. You will now be able to
change the race time to Normal, Morning, Evening and Night.
Spinning Mode
Just as you are about to start a race hold down Square, Cross and Select.
During the race a mini buggy will go across the bottom of the screen to indicate
that spinning mode is activated. Do a power slide on the very next corner after
this message and try to pull off a perfect 360 degree spin. You will be marked
by the computer (0-100) after each spin.
