    ASV UNIX (Atari SVr4)

In November of 1991, Atari shipped the developer's release of ASV, which was Atari System V Release 4 of UNIX for the TT030. ASV included X11 release 4, OSF Motif, the Window Iconic Shell from NSL, FaceMaker - NSL's GUI builder for Motif, GNU C++, Atari System Administration Tools, and much more.
Networking support was added by using Atari's VME ethernet board. ASV shipped on 210MB and 340MB hard drives.
In the summer of 1992, the final version was ready to ship. A few months later, Atari discontinued it's UNIX development. There are, however, versions of both the developer's release and the final release still being used...somewhere.

(Hans-Martin was one of the developer's who worked on the project)
