Neither the calm before a storm,
Nor the calm after a storm,
But the calm during a storm.

Neither the roses in a vase,
Nor the roses over a grave,
But roses growing wild in a vale.

Let there remain,
Neither the man whom they call an aristocrat,
Nor the man who calls himself proletariat,
But the man who is at peace with himself and the world.
