Fair Lady, fair lady
so tender and true,
you’ve brought sweet joy to my life.
A friendship in blossom
yet… in full bloom;
a welcome change from the strife.

No hardships or cares as we journey together,
our lives entwined in heart.
As friends we’ll last a lifetime or more
though most times we’ll be apart.
