Hangers On
Mr. Banks
At a spry seventy four years, Henry Banks has seen and done enough for several lifetimes. He spends a good deal of time in the Nickel, but rarely bets more than he wins, and never drinks more than two drinks a night. He's a tall man, with thick white hair and pale blue eyes. Cantankerous, cranky, nosy, and perpetually bad tempered, Mr. Banks always has blunt advice to dispense to the younger patrons and employees of the Nickel, and while it is often unwanted and unsolicited, it always seems to be right. Appears in Angel Soul; Devil Heart by Lily Masterton.
Anthony Barrow
Ellie's former boyfriend and partner in crime, a murderer and bank
robber. They got into an argument in the Chicago area which degenerated
into violence, leaving him with a stab wound and in prison, and Ellie
badly injured with a gunshot to the shoulder but able to escape. Anthony
has a violent temper and is currently looking for Ellie, as he has
escaped from prison in Chicago. He stands at 6'2", has brown hair, brown
eyes, and constantly wears a mean-looking scowl. Appearing in by Ellie Glass.
Sam "Sole" DeSole
A mountain of a man who really never needed to bother learning to become an expert knife-thrower, Sole spent three years on Blackwell's Island due to the friendly efforts of Beale and Little. He escaped in early February, along with Tom, and is now a member of the River Cats Gang. Created by himself, and appearing in The Lucky and the Strong by Tom Little.
Brian Green
Ben's father. A former bank clerk, he was let go when the bank recently
started losing money. He has been unable to find another job as of yet,
despite his experience and education, due to the fact that the bank
made up a false reason to sack him. He's thin like his son, and tall with
brown hair and eyes.
Felicity Green
Ben's little sister. She's eight years old and absolutely adorable,
though she irritates the living daylights out of Ben sometimes (as all
siblings do). She's a chatterbox, with huge blue eyes and curly brown
hair. Her brother and father spoil her rotten, but she hasn't been badly
affected by it.
Charlie Heard
Eighteen-year-old Charlie is too occasional a patron to be called a regular at the Nickel. He was a devoted younger brother until his sister Emily was killed in a suspicious factory accident in October of 1902. Now that Beale is dead, he has the dubious distinction of being the only person to know Straight´s real name.
Owen O'Riley
A shy, big-eyed ten year old, Owen grew up in the River Cats Gang, where he was badly abused by his father, John, and Barry, who was in charge of the kids. This is the main reason why he does his best to stay out of everyone's way and not do anything that might be considered 'bad'. Owen is small for his age, with brown hair and blue eyes. After being arrested for picking pockets and a late-night breakout, Owen was taken to live with Lily Masterton.
