Green Door Rally
- this event is being presented by the Rouge Duffins Greenspace Coalition, and will feature an afternoon of live music, environmental speakers and politicians (including Mark Holland, Regional Councillor for Ward 2 in Pickering), children's activities, letter writing and more.  Click here to view the flyer.

Whitevale Annual Harmony Festival
- follow Altona Road north from Kingston Road, past Taunton to the T-intersection; turn right 100 yards and you're there!
- will contain a host of events startinng at 9:00 a.m. to include arts, crafts, games for the kids, a pony ride; live entertainment starting at 12:00 noon (children's entertainment first), continuous until dinner time
- this year's theme will be the developpment of the Seaton Lands, so watch for a guest speaker (short and sweet)
