John just found your web site , I was at the 737th, site 2, 1954-1955 and have been doing some history on the bases in Morocco. Contacted a Donald Myers [e-mail -- dcmyers@clinin.net], who helped install the radar at the sites in Nov. 1952. He said the 735th started at site 3 as Detachment 2 in oct 1952 after coming from the Georgia ANG as the 117th AC&W at Sewart AFB. Site 3 & 4 became the 737th around Aug 1953, then the 737th went to site 2, Site 3 became the 734th and the CO was Maj. Charles Marshall. Site 4 became the 735th. I have a news clip with photo of the dental van from the Arm Forces news. I also have a MPC and French Franc(100) If you would like a copy sent me your home address. You have done a great job.
