White label Juice Machine. Extremely hard to find example. Has white label which matches the original Juice Machine box. Version 1 of the Juice Machine box shws a picture with a WHITE LABEL. I have found these in Canada and in Southern California.

Yellow label Juice Machine (Early Version). I have found these examples ONLY in Southern California. Most rare of the three pictured here to my knowledge. Note that it has the braided wire which denotes it from the standard production models.

Yellow label Juice Machine (Standard Production). The most common of the Juice Machines. It has the bare wire connecting the batteries to the output connector. As usual, another cost-cutting measure by Mattel in the early 70's got rid of the insulated wire.

In 1971, Mattel switched the Juice Machine labels and box, but the internals remained the same (see photo below). In 1972, Mattel switched to the Goose Pump charger to cut costs. For us hardcore racers, that was one of the best moves they ever made. Juice Machines and Power Pits were discontinued after 1971. They were available into the late 70's, however.

Juice Machine Version 2 with box (1971). Note that the "Juice Machine" text is located on the lower label here. Also on the lower label are the recommendations for use with Sizzlers, Earthshakers, and Hotline Trains.
