OTHER OFFICIAL SIZZLERS STICKERS:

The following will not add nor detract form a car’s value:

1.        Water applied decals. The Sizzlers from 1970 included a sheet of water-applied decals. These included the big sponsors of the day. Having these decals on the car will not add or subtract from the vehicle price, although some applications look better than others.

2.        Mad Scatter Set. Many of the 1971 cars you will find have “eye” stickers placed on the hood. These were from the 1972 Mad Scatter Set. Having these decals on the car will not add or subtract from the vehicle price, although some applications look better than others.

3.        Lap Computer Stickers. This is a VERY common occurrence. These round, numbered stickers came with the California 500 Set and the Lap Computer Accessory. The stickers were printed with different colors, and were numbered 1-4. Having these decals on the car will not add or subtract from the vehicle price, although some applications look better than others.

4.        Stick Arounds. These were a separate package of stickers sold by Mattel. These are real common on Sizzlers. They were made with a much more durable stock and ink. Many times, they can be easily peeled off if unwanted without damaging the car’s paint. Having these decals on the car will not add or subtract from the vehicle price, although some applications look better than others.

5.        BEWARE: Stickers can hide paint flaws and body damage. Purchase with care.
