  • how far away is work from home?

  • assuming you live in herrenberg... a 15 minute walk (or 6 minute run) will get you to herrenberg station, where you can catch a train which leaves every 30 minutes to work.
the train journey lasts another 15 minutes, passing through some beautiful countryside (yawn).
either hulb or the next stop, böblingen is where the buildings are. it's about another 15 minute walk from there.
unless you work in the building next to the station like some lucky people. (grrrrrrrr)

  • excellent. we get to work flexi-time. which means, that as long as you work 40 hours a week, and don't take the piss too much, you can turn up whenever you want. some people who do support have to work a 9-5 day though.

  • can i send personal emails from work?

  • in a word.... hellyeah!!!
not only that, but you can get away with using your work phone to call home, send emails to mates all day, chat bollocks on icq, make personal web pages (heh heh heh) browse the internet all day and listen to music you downloaded on napster.
as long as you can figure out how to get through the firewalls...
