Designer Mini Tower (PB 4000)
AKA Pizza Tower
This is my favorite PB case because of it easy acces to the motherboard for upgrades.

Basic Specifications
  1. Low-profile design
  2. Rear panel expansion slots
  3. (5) disk drive bays, as (2) third-height bays and (3) half-height bays, for additional disk drive(s) or CD-ROM drive.
  4. Front panel mounted fan provides enhanced system cooling.
  5. 200 watt power supply (max.).
  6. Dimensions (approx.): 378mm (14.89") x 272mm (10.7") x 412mm (16.2") (HxWxD).
  7. Weight (approx.): 20.5 lbs. (incl. 3.5" FDD and CD-ROM Drive).


Cover Removal

1) Make sure your system power is OFF and your AC power cord is connected to a surge protector (power strip) or grounded (three-prong) electrical outlet.
     
    2) Remove the three cover mounting screws from your system's rear panel 3) Place your hands on both sides of the case at its midpoint. Carefully slide the case backward toward the rear panel (approximately 1/2 inch)
     
    4)  Carefully grasp the case and lift it up until it clears the chassis. Set the case aside.

    5) You should now be able to acces the system.

Sometimes the lower side rails need to be removed, this can be done simply by first removing the front panel.  Once removed the side panel is removed by taking out one scre in the front and then sliding the panel off.  repeat the steps for the other side of the unit.


Restoring the Case

Simply reversing the above steps will get your cover back on.
