When sending your question, you will need to give PB a detailed description
and the following information:
-
Your name and e-mail address
-
The serial number of your computer
-
Any additional hardware and/or software installed
I have received support from the US and Canada addresses, I live in the
US. I have sent an identical email to every (English) address below. It
does no good to send more than one email with same question at the same
time to all three US support address. Two out of the three say refer to
previous reply and the third has your answer. A Canadian email can be sent
at the same time as a U.S. and you may get a response from both. I would
recommend sending the same question more then once because PB does not
always answer the question fully the first time. I think it all has to
do with the tech you get, it would be nice if we got quality from all techs
but I hope they are working on it.
As far as the overseas email addresses, I have tested them and I received
no reply from Australia and Israel. The European english response to my
question was that they could not find me in their data base, but if I registered
they would be able to reply.
If you get a message saying to call the fee based support and
you know that it should be handled by free support then sent another
email. This happened to me and they answered the question the second time.
I also got a pleasant surprise when PB responded back on a question a week
or so later after I thought they forgot me, this question took some digging
and I applaud the tech that did his home work. Good job PB, you should
hire more techs like that guy.
Good Luck, and save all your email responses you may need them later.
I found out PB was not keeping a record of my correspondence with them
and caused me to explain the situation to each and every tech.
