People say that Stan is sarcastic but he insists that he is not and it is  just that many cannot take his own unique band of humour! Stan has been faithfully serving the Club as a Trainer since he graduated in 2000. He is presently the Epee Senior trainer and is in charge of (in his own words) “toughening up the fencers and cleaning out the trash”. Stan’s greatest achievement to date however is off the piste where he has shed an amazing 50 kilograms after his national service. On the whole, he brings a sense of purpose, determination and mental strength to his training that many in the epee department have found useful, if not scary at times.
