Wei Ping is an undergraduate studying for his medical degree at Edinburgh university. He started out in foil but changed over to sabre in 2001. His younger brother, Tham Wei Yang also fences and presently holds the position of Foil Captain in SJFA, while his older brother used to fence. As Wei Ping studies  overseas he is only able to help out in a limited capacity with the sabre team. Apart from fencing he also enjoys fantasy novels and RPG or strategy games.
