"Capcom Japan has updated its official website with news that a version of Capcom Vs. SNK 2, the popular traditional 2D fighter, will make its way to Nintendo's next-generation console in the not too distant future. No specific release date has been announced for the game's premiere in America. But a Capcom USA spokesperson did admit that as a general rule the subsidiary tends to publish any fighter initially released overseas by the parent company.
Capcom Vs. SNK 2 combines a cast of characters from the company's Street Fighter series of games and SNK's King of Fighters, among others, to do battle in an all-out brawl-fest complete with combinations and grooves galore. The title, which is already available for PlayStation 2, scored a high 8.4 with sister-site IGNPS2.
As soon as we know more regarding the particulars of the port, we'll be sure to post them here for your pleasure."
My Score: N/A
Advantages: Capcom vs SNK on the 'Cube!
Disadvantages: Not exactly Soul Calibur quality, 2D graphics.
