SkateToIt
was created because of the lack of Skating
coverage in the NorthWest Florida area and to
help encourage Roller Skaters no matter where they are. Just do a search
on Roller Skating in Northwest Florida and you will come up pretty much
empty!
The focus will be on Roller Skating, but SkateToIt will also have some coverage of the ice-skating scene. SkateToIt will have a few "banners", like the one below in the hope that as other "skate" sites develop we can exchange banners and support each other! Feel free to use the banner and support skating and skaters! Now get off ya butt and skate! |
Please don't forget to
email us
to give comments about this web site or to shout out to other skaters in
the North West Florida area and beyond!

techies box My equipment:
2004: When hanging out in the skating rinks.. As you get older you have to make a change so now I use a low cut boot; the Riedell Carrera Sport soft leather boots sitting on the Sunlite Double Action Zytel plates with Bones Elite® 57mm 103a clear wheels.. Using a high boot with about a 11/2~2" heel and then going to a 1/2" heel boot has taken some getting 'use' to. Progress is comming along. My feet feel so good now!!! It's great to go home with no blisters or sore feet. It's taken a while to get used to the lower heal of this boot. I kept feeling like I was falling backwards... I'm guessing as you get older, it's harder to break in new boots.. especially the high top boots.. I don't think it's a fashion statement, the lower boot is comfortable... And the price also can't be beat. The also pack much easier also... Unless you are doing double or triple jumps... you don't need the expense of the traditional boot...
2003: I've retired my, trusty old Chicago II GM quad plates with:
Riedell®r297 boots and Bones Elite® 57mm 103a clear
wheels.
