Cheap Trick 2000-Charlotte

These were taken in uptown Charlotte on May 27, 2000 when Cheap Trick headlined a free concert as part of the Memorial Weekend race festivities. I was again with my stepdaughter (this time she brought her husband along) and was again on the front row. During the encore of "Never Had A Lot To Lose" a fireworks display was set off prematurely. It was so loud it drowned out the band. They just looked amused and never missed a beat.
I also got to meet Flog and Rusty from the Cheap Trick newsgroup. It was one of Flog's last days as a free man...he got married the next weekend.
