Seneschal:

The chief administrative officer of the group, the Seneschal is responsible for coordinating the activities of the group and overseeing the other Skeldergate officers.  The Seneschal reports to the Kingdom and Baronial Seneschals, and receives copies of all of the other local officers’ reports.

Exchequer:

The Exchequer is responsible for the financial affairs of the group, including record-keeping and banking, and reports to the Baronial and Kingdom Exchequers.

Herald:

The Herald is responsible for all heraldic matters, such as name and device submissions, public announcements and court protocol.  The Herald also maintains the records of any awards or titles bestowed on Skeldergate members.  The Herald reports to the Baronial and Kingdom Heralds.

Marshal:

The Marshal is responsible for heavy weapons fighter training, safety on the combat field and enforcing the armour standards and the rules of engagement.  The Marshal reports to the Baronial and Kingdom Marshals.

Chronicler:

The Chronicler publishes the group newsletter, maintains and updates the group mailing and phone lists, and prints any flyers or announcements needed by the group.  The Chronicler reports to the Baronial and Kingdom Chroniclers.  Currently, as Skeldergate’s newsletter is in hiatus, the office of Chronicler is vacant.  We encourage Skeldergate members who are interested in receiving a local newsletter to subscribe to Septentria’s newsletter, The Ursus.  The Ursus also eagerly accepts submissions of artwork, event reports, articles, etc.

Minister of Arts and Sciences:

The Minister of Arts and Sciences (MoAS) encourages members to research, practice and teach historically accurate arts and crafts.  The MoAS can also be a good source for contact information for artisans in particular fields.  The MoAS reports to the Baronial and Kingdom Ministers of Arts and Sciences.

Chatelaine:

The Chatelaine is responsible for welcoming new members and helping them get settled into the Society.  The Chatelaine reports to the Baronial and Kingdom Chatelaines.

Web Minister:

The Web Minister is responsible for maintaining Skeldergate’s web pages.  As a deputy of the Chronicler, the Web Minister reports directly to the local Chronicler and to the Kingdom Web Minister.
