About 50-year-old pine tree (9 inches tall) My father took over this one from his father (who passed away in 1982). I will take over this pine tree in the future. |
Our family is living in a apartment complex with small balconies. And we are enjoying the gardening using a balcony. We have more than 20 pots of bonsai. These are not typical bonsai trees as you often see in gardening books. Bonsai we have right now are ultra miniaturized plants (mini-bonsai). They are only several inches tall. The reason why we have such miniaturized bonsai is very simple. Itfs because our balcony is too small to have regular sized bonsai trees. We started mini-bonsai in 1995. We collected several seeds in forest and we planted them in small pots. We moved several times, but we keep watering and treating them. We will show you some of them in the folowing table.
